We offer a range of housing solutions designed to meet both immediate needs and long-term aspirations: emergency housing assistance, temporary housing, permanent housing development and housing education and counseling.
On Farm Housing Grant Program
The purpose of our On-Farm Housing Program is to improve the living and housing conditions of farmworkers in North Carolina. SENPH may be able to provide a grant for eligible upgrades and repairs to farm labor housing.
How to Apply

Contact us to schedule an onsite visit to determine eligibility.

A Housing Specialist will go to your home and assess repairs.

Once your application and proposal is approved, work may begin on your home.

Call your Housing Specialist once work is completed.

An on-site final inspection visit is scheduled to inspect repairs.

As long as you are still eligible, you may contact your Housing Specialist to reapply 3 months from your final inspection date!

We'll need a scope of work completed for the project. We'll also need the number of farmworkers who live in the unit(s) with projects and demonstrate the demand of farm labor.

You'll need a written scope of work. Our Housing Specialists can help develop this with you. Once you have the scope of work and an estimate of the costs, the turnaround time for a completed application and Grant Agreement can be just a few days.

Emergency Assistance Service
Funded by the US Department of Labor's National Farmworker Jobs Program, SENPH provides emergency assistance services such as rent and utility payments to eligible farmworkers and their families.
